Deputy Manager- II in ELCOT

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent Qualification on the date of this Notification (i.e.) 11^th of April 2016:

B.E. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering

(OR)

B.E. Degree in Computer Science Engineering

(OR)

B.Tech Degree in Information Technology

AND

Five years experience in Software/ Hardware Company.

Note:

(A)  The Degree / Post Graduate Degree qualification prescribed should have been obtained after passing SSLC/10th, Diploma/H.S.C and Degree as whatever may be the case.

(B)   Candidates possessing qualifications other than those mentioned above are not eligible to apply.

Format for Experience Certificate:

(A)        A relevant experience of minimum 5 years is mandatorily needed either in Hardware or Software industry.

(B)        Experience certificate should be obtained from the Software Company by clearly specifying the period and experience in Hardware / Software as shown below:

(C)        The foresaid industry experience must have been obtained after completing the academic career.

Age Limit (as on 01.07.2016):

(A)For Deputy Manager in ELCOT Department the aspirant should minimum be of 18 years of age while the upper age limit for candidates not belonging to reserved classes is 30 years.

(B)  There is no upper age bar for candidates belonging to SCs,  SC(A)s, STs,  MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs.

TNPSC ELCOT Deputy Manager Recruitment 2016 Application procedure

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission has released official notification No.08/2016 dated 11.04.2016 for direct recruitment of vacancies in ELCOT for Deputy Manager-II Posts. This examination is conducted to fill 12 vacancies in this department. 

It is the mandatory for all the candidates to apply for the TNPSC ELCOT Deputy Manager recruitment 2016 through online mode.

  2.   Check the TNPSC DM-II notification 2016 to find whether you satisfy the eligibility criteria here:

TNPSC VAO Exam Preparation Tips

·       Language subjects:

In language subjects, you need to get well prepared in topics covered in standards 6^th to 12^th. You will have three parts namely Grammar, Literature and Authors and their literary works. From them you have to give higher weightage to Literature and Authors & their literary works.

·       General Knowledge:

Based on the last few years’ TNPSC question papers we can infer that more marks are allocated for General awareness, Current affairs, Indian constitution, Indian Freedom struggle, Indian Economics and Indian Geography. So get yourself well equipped in these subjects.

·       Analytical and Logical Reasoning:

Candidates can go through Life Mathematics subjects of Standards 7^th and 8^th and Mensuration topic of Standards 9^th and 10^th for scoring well in this section. Learning the formulas and short cut techniques of these chapters could help us a great deal in our exams.

·       Village Administration Section:

25 Questions about Village administration are taken from 25 different sections. Hence only by learning and understanding the Village Administration concepts well before hand, we can score well in this section.

Prepare with previous year (2014, 2015, 2016) papers by trying to answer the questions asked in it. This inturn also helps us to better understand the question patterns of Language and General Knowledge sections. (A) The said qualification prescribed for these posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the order of studies 10th, HSC, UG Degree and PG Degree (10+2+3).

(B) Persons claiming equivalence of qualification should furnish the details of evidence for such claim when called for, failing which their application will be summarily rejected.
