TNPSC Recruitment 2016- Junior Chemist in TamilNadu Industries Sub ordinate Service Post Overview

Tamilnadu Public service Commission will soon be announcing notification for the Chemist Posts in Tamilnadu Industrial Subordinate Service. All eligible candidates are requested to make full use of this opportunity as selected candidates will get a first month net salary of nearly Rs.35,000 in hand after all the deductions.

The job responsibilities of Junior Chemist include the following:

(i)            Perform data verification/validation and interpretation of environmental analytical methods including writing assessment reports.

(ii)          Prepare planning documents and reports related to analytical facets of projects.

(iii)        Oversee and track all aspects of laboratory and validation subcontractors including ensuring laboratory compliance with the applicable guidance documents and project plans.

(iv)        Assist in the coordination between the laboratory, project managers, and field team and

(v)         Perform onsite groundwater and soil sampling, as needed by travelling to various industrial sites.

Rs.9, 300 -34, 800/- (PB2) + 5,100/- Grade Pay

Age Limit:   

No maximum age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes

Upper age limit for others is 30 years.

Required Qualification: 

A first or Second Class degree in MSC in Chemistry OR Chemical Technology

OR

Industrial Chemistry

OR

Associate Diploma of the Institution of Chemist (India) obtained by Examination.

Experience Required: 

Experience in research in Pure or Applied Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry for a period of not less than 2 years is mandatory to be considered for this post.
