Tamilnadu Public Service Commission will be releasing notification for filling 8 vacancies (2+6) in Tamilnadu Motor vehicle Maintenance Service for the post of General Foreman/ Technical Assistant.

Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Maintenance Department is a Service Department which undertakes maintenance and repair of all Government Departmental vehicles throughout the state of Tamilnadu. Particularly all the vehicles of Humble Chief Minister’s convoy and being maintained and repaired at Government Central Automobile Workshop of this department at Chennai. 

This department undertakes maintenance and repairs of all the Government vehicles of Secretariat, Chennai-9 with a service station functioning exclusively for this purpose and for all the Government Department Vehicles of nearly 17,955 in numbers throughout the state in Tamilnadu. Apart from the vehicle maintenance, the Tyres and Batteries are being purchased from the manufactures and supplied by this department to all the Government Departmental vehicles to minimise the expenditure and thus making savings to the Government in this aspect.

TNPSC Tamilnadu Industries Subordinate Service- Assistant Tester post overview

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission is going to release notification for the post of Testing Assistant in Tamilnadu Industries Subordinate Service in the year of 2016.

The job of an Assistant Tester is to test electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring and ensure they comply with electrical codes and standards. His primary responsibilities include examining and testing electrical systems, inspecting the installation of electrical wiring for heating and air conditioning systems, keeping records, compiling inspection reports and suggesting recommendations for improvement.

Necessary Educational Qualification:

A Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with experience of one year in the field of Electrical Testing in a recognized concern.

OR 

A Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering with experience of three years in the field of Electrical Testing in a recognized concern.

OR

An equivalent qualification awarded by any University or Institution recognized by the UGC or Board.

TNPSC Block Health Statistician Post Overview

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission is conducting recruitment examination to for 172 Block Health Statistician posts to be filled in our Tamilnadu Medical services board in the year of 2016. The role of block health statistician is to evaluate information and relevant health status data for local population. Their job responsibility also involves making reports on the injury, diseases and deaths in each community.

Desired Qualification:        

Educational qualification is the degree in mathematics with statistics from a recognised university. Applicant must have knowledge of Tamil since the recruitment is for Tamil nadu PSC block health statistician notification. 

Age limit:                              

The age of candidate must be between 18 to 30 years for general category and there is no age limit for SC, ST, BC category vacancies.

TNPSC VAO Examination for Tamilnadu Ministerial Service:

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts direct recruitment for the post of village administrative officer in Tamilnadu Ministerial service. This is a direct recruitment exam where the candidates who have cleared the written examinations will directly be selected to fill up available vacancies in Ministerial service.
