TNPSC Group 2 Interview Posts Results out


The results of TNPSC preliminary Group II Services exam for interview posts during 2014-15 and 2015-16 is finally out after a long period of frustration among the people who gave a try on this exam. This written exam was conducted during 26th July 2015. After a long period of delay due to correction procedure and the recent TamilNadu elections, the commission had finally released the long awaited result of this examination.

Earlier TNPSC Chairman had promised that the results of Group 2 Services exam will be released as soon as possible while releasing the annual planner for the year 2016-17. As the results were all set to be released there was another obstacle on the way in the form of state’s elections and as per directions received from election commission the date of release of results were further postponed.

TNPSC Tourist Officer Recruitment 2016 Post overview


For the first time ever TNPSC will be conducting exams for the posts of tourist officer later in this year following a request from the government. TNPSC Chairman has mentioned that the Tamil Nadu Government has requested to fill up the vacancy of Tourism officer for the first time. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is going to announce Assistant Geologist Recruitment Notification 2016 in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Subordinate Service Posts. The job responsibilities of Additional Director of Handlooms and Textiles include:
(i)           Assisting the Director of Handlooms and Textiles in the Planning and Implementation of schemes for the development of Handloom Weavers.

TNPSC CESE Recruitment 2016- Assistant Director of Industrial Safety & Health in TamilNadu Factory Service Post Overview


TamilNadu Public Service Commission will soon be publishing notification for recruitment of Assistant Directors in Industrial Safety and Health department of TamilNadu Factory Service. Combined Engineering Services Exams are conducted to recruit technically skilled personnel in departments such as Public Works Department (PWD). All fellow aspirants are requested to make full use of this opportunity as these exams are conducted only occasionally.

The job responsibilities of the Assistant Director in Industrial Safety and Health of TamilNadu Factory Service are as follows:

1. He/ She must identify and assess dangerous mechanical motions and dangerous parts of various types of machines in factories & must monitor provision of the guards based upon the engineering principles of machine guarding.
2. He/ She must monitor compliance of periodic inspections & compliance regarding testing of various types of pressure vessels, pressure system, and safety relief system etc., He must also hoist tackles, thermal fluid heaters, solvent extraction plants etc.
3. He/ She must organize frequent inspections and amenability checks. The Assistant Director must conduct inquiry for complaints in case of serious and fatal accident events of fires, explosions & toxic gas release etc.

4. It is the job of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health to render technical support to the district authorities in preparation and updating of the Off-site Disaster Control Plan, and in conducting mock drills.
