TNPSC Block Health Statistician 2016 Qualification criteria

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission has released official notification No.2/2016 dated 12.2.2016 for direct recruitment of vacancies corresponding to Block Health Statistician in the Family Welfare Department (2007-2011) (Post Code. 2010). There are 172 open vacancies available in this department.  Now let us see the Education qualification required to apply for these posts below:

Educational Qualification (as on 12^th  February 2016):

A Second Class degree in Mathematics with Statistics as an ancillary subject.

(OR)

A Second Class degree in Statistics with Mathematics as an ancillary subject.

Other things being equal preference shall be given to persons with experienced in Collection and Compilation of statistics for a period of not less than 3 years.

Note:

(i) The prescribed UG Degree qualification should have been obtained in the order of S.S.L.C., H.Sc/. Diploma or its equivalent and U.G. Degree respectively.

(ii) Candidates claiming equivalence of qualification to the prescribed qualification should furnish evidence for such claim in the form of Government Order (G.O.) issued prior to the date of this Notification. The G.O. issued after the date of Notification will not be accepted.

TNPSC Sub-Inspector for Fisheries (2013-2015) in the Tamilnadu Fisheries Subordinate Service Recruitment 2016

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is going to announce Sub - Inspector of Fisheries Notification 2016 in Tamil Nadu Fisheries Subordinate Service. The 20% reservation of vacancies on preferential allotment to Persons Studied in Tamil Medium (PSTM) will apply for this recruitment.

The primary job responsibilities of this position are as follows:

·       
·        To assist fish farmers in fish culture.
·        To maintain aquarium including collection, stocking and up keeping of fishes.
·        To perform functions of Fishery Officer under Andaman and Nicobar Islands Marine Fishing Regulation and Rules.
·        To associate with the training programmes conducted by the Department.
·        To assist the Technical Officers in the office management.
·        To assist the Technical Officers in breeding and larval rearing of fishes.
·        Any other works assigned by the superiors from time to time and collection of Fish Landing Statistics.
