TNPSC Tamilnadu Industries Subordinate Service- Assistant Tester post overview

Tamilnadu Public Service Commission is going to release notification for the post of Testing Assistant in Tamilnadu Industries Subordinate Service in the year of 2016.

The job of an Assistant Tester is to test electrical systems and equipment to detect faulty wiring and ensure they comply with electrical codes and standards. His primary responsibilities include examining and testing electrical systems, inspecting the installation of electrical wiring for heating and air conditioning systems, keeping records, compiling inspection reports and suggesting recommendations for improvement.

Necessary Educational Qualification:

A Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering with experience of one year in the field of Electrical Testing in a recognized concern.

OR 

A Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR Electronics Engineering with experience of three years in the field of Electrical Testing in a recognized concern.

OR

An equivalent qualification awarded by any University or Institution recognized by the UGC or Board.
