TNPSC was established by government of Tamil Nadu.VAO
is a popular exam conducted by TNPSC and it helps to find skilled candidates
for the post of village administrative officers in the state. Most of
candidates are concentrating on VAO requirement every year. Because, it contains
only school level syllabus and the applicants who have passed 10th
class are eligible for the constraint.
VAO post is related to the post of village accountant
with the responsibility of maintenance of record and account preparation of calculated
revenues. This exam is convoyed every year by the TNPSC. Village Administration
Officers (VAO) post has easy syllabus compare to other TNPSC requirements.
Hence the competition is getting tougher every year.

Education Qualification
S.S.L.C. Public examination or its equivalent.
Candidate should have written and spoken skills in
Tamil Language.
Eligibility:
Applicant’s age should be 21 years
to 30 years for unreserved candidates and 21 years to 40 years for reserved
category candidates. SSLC or its equal academic qualification is required for TNPSC
VAO exam.
Selection Process
Candidates must appear in written examination test and further they will
be called for the personal interview session, which is based on score candidate
has scored in their main exam. Throughout an interview examiner observe candidates
talent and skills and personality of an aspirant. Written examination is an objective type.
Written exam will be conducted in two types of question papers. First type of
question paper contain questions on general studies (75 items), basics of
village administration consists (25 items), aptitude and mental ability test
consists 20 items and general Tamil (80 items).
The other paper contain questions on
general ability consists 75 items and basics of village administration consists
25 items, aptitude and mental ability test contain 20 items and General English
consists 80 items. Total numbers of questions are 100
from S.S.L.C. standard. Students may select any language between English and Tamil.
Complete question paper involves of 200 questions carrying total 300 marks. Time
duration to complete the exam is 3 hours. To qualify for selection you should
get 90 marks.

application form.
Because, to get important
notifications about your results and to know status of your application on your
mobile. You can pay exam fee through online (through net banking, credit card
etc.) or offline through post office and any bank in India. After successfully registration
take print out of your form. Fee: Rs. 125 (Rupee one hundred and
twenty five) as VAO examination fee for unreserved category and candidates who
claiming relaxation have to pay Rs. 50 (Rupee fifty).
