TNPSC Group II has been
given the Notification for various
posts under one roof of Combined Civil Services Examination which is scheduled to
be held on upcoming 1/12/2013.
Lets discuss about the
Pattern of Group II Combined Civil Service Examination from TNPSC. The TNPSC Group
II Combined Civil Service Examination comprises of two Parts viz, Preliminary Examination,
and Mains Examination

II Combined Civil Service Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination
of TNPSC Group II Combined Civil Service Examination Comprises of Only Objective Type which like you have to
choose the best option which is given for that particular Question.
Primarily Preliminary
Examination Consists of Two Parts namely General Studies and General
English/Tamil.
General
Studies: Which further divided into Two parts like General
Studies which takes place in that first 75 Questions which are of Degree
Standard and Aptitude & Mental Ability which will come the rest 25
Questions which are of SSLC Level only.
General
English/Tamil: The second part of your TNPSC Group II
Combined Civil Service Preliminary Examination is General English/Tamil. So
here TNPSC gives candidates to choose any one either Tamil or English for your
choice to answer. All the 100 Questions in this part will be SSLC Level alone.
So candidates are advised to go through their Basic Tamil/English of their
Interest alone.
Hence totally 200
Questions will be asked upon you for whom the marks allotted is 300. All this
questions you need to be answered within a given time of 3 Hours.
Mains Examination
Scheme for TNPSC Group II Combined Civil Service Examination
The Mains Examination
comprises of Written Test and Oral Test totally 340 marks. Which is again
divided into three parts namely Part A of General Studies, Part B of Essay
writing and Interview & Records.
Part A Written
Examination consists of General Studies which are of objective in Degree
Standard will be consists 2 hours Examination for the which the marks awarded
will be of 250 Marks
Part B Essay Descriptive
Type examination which comprises of 1 hour Examination which carries 50 marks
in total.
The Interview and
Records which comprises of just 40 marks in total hence the total Main
Examination marks is of 340 and 3 hours of Duration for which the Minimum Qualifying
marks are 102 which is also called as Cut-Off marks.
Here the One good news
for Candidates from TNPSC is that Mains Examination Question Paper will be in
Bilingual i.e. Question Paper Printed on Both Tamil and English Language.
