TNPSC group-II A services Exam Notification for the year 2014 suggests there are over five seventy seven posts available for the post of Assistant and Accountant. This exam will be conducted next month on June 29th and the time schedule for the same has been published by the department.

Competition between eligible candidates

The competition for Group II exam is very high due to the fact; there are over two lakh candidates writing this exam. TNPSC exam is conducted in two ways -written test followed by an Interview. If you have passed the test by scoring above average marks, even better out of two hundred questions, if you have cleared more than one fifty questions, you are likely to get selected for the interview and it will be conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. The total mark is 300.General Tamil or English will have 100 marks and General knowledge questions will have a total of 100 questions.
 Preparing for the language paper is the first and foremost thing you must do as you will have the chance to get at least 80-90 questions right in that particular paper. Compared to other competitive exams getting highest score is possible in TNPSC group-II.
The rest of the question paper deals with general knowledge and you can easily score high marks in it, if you allocate just one hour daily. That’s all is required to crack the exam.

Model papers will be provided to you on abundant supply unless you are studying in a coaching Centre. If that is not the case, you can always find model question papers of TNPSC online.
