The TNPSC is actively recruiting candidates as per reforms in 2012. In that regard, the VAO posts recruitment was split into divisions as VAO Phase I to phase IV counseling recruitments. The Phase I counseling was conducted on 3rd and 4th of January 2013 and following which the Phase II counseling was done by 24th January, 2013. This is now being followed by the phase IV counseling after the phase III counseling held in the last week of January 2013.
The list of candidates who have cleared the TNPSC VAO exam conducted on 30-09-2012 and were not able to attend the counseling in Phase I session, were invited for the Phase II and phase III counseling and now consequently the phase IV counseling. The VAO post recruitment hosts 1,870 posts for the candidates who have been selected through written and oral examinations. The posts remaining after the Phase I, phase II and phase III counseling will be distributed to the candidates appearing for Phase IV recruitments.
The candidates eligible for the VAO post selection for phase IV counseling can be referred at TNPSC site:

The candidates can refer to their register number in the web page and get to know their selection for the counseling. Separate information on the date, time and place of the phase IV counseling will be informed to the candidates shortly by the Board.
Reserve List candidates:
Also there are a selected few candidates on the reserve list for the VAO post phase IV counseling. The list of the selected candidates can be referred in the below link:

The candidates in the Reserve List will be considered for allotment from the respective categories against the vacancies caused due to any of the following reasons:
i. Non-joining duty of selected candidates.
ii. Selected candidates who joined duty but left thereafter.
iii. Cancellation of Provisional selection of the selected candidates for any reason.
