Scheme of examination of Assistant Section Officer (Translation) Post in TNPSC


The TNPSC exams mostly follow a written examination followed by an oral test to test a candidate on both analytical and leadership skills. A TNPSC examination is a public service examination hence an official in TNPSC must have the qualities of analytical reasoning and handling of situation skills to solve any problems and work in the post.

Accordingly, the examination pattern is set in the above mentioned forms of written and oral test formats.

As the Minimum qualifying marks is set to 136 marks for General caste, SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs and BCMs  need to score only 102 to qualify.
