The Government on a recent revision of the
Educational priorities to the employment eligibility, has seen fit to equalize
the students who have not completed plus two, instead have by-passed it to
achieve their degree, with the regular plus two finished candidates.
There are many employees who have been
recruited to the government posts but have not completed their plus two having
by-passed it to their Diploma degrees or having studied graduation in
correspondence and also having acquired graduation through open universities
without studying plus and by-passing it after their tenth standard
results.
These candidates are now being equalized to
the normal graduate candidates, so they become eligible to TNPSC Exam selections.
Many teacher candidates who have finished their BED after tenth also become
eligible for Middle school teacher posts through this. And the main plus to all
this is that the already employed candidates in the Government posts can now
look up to promotions as they are being equalized with the regular degree
holders. This promotion consequently will lead to more openings for the above
mentioned candidates. This has proven to be a great opportunity for the plus two
by-passed candidates.
Good afternoon.
